Nikon Gamma Controls - v0.1 Beta Test
Check it out, this is the breakthrough that takes Nikon DSLR's where no GH2 has gone before!
Nice approach. Really smooths out and speeds upworkflow if you can adjust Gamma in camera.

I personally wouldn't think that the powers that be at Nikon will be dumb enough to release such a very important camera for them with a worsened situation of the very same problems that have basically hindered 100% of the DSLRS so far. It would be really, really stupid of them. But then again if they do they truly deserve to crash and burn.
It is not what self proclaimed "experts" in the forums want, it is what a company can develop, manufacture and deliver at the time. Nikon has gone through a very healthy period of development for their video side of DSLRs for a company with no professional video experience. At the moment their cameras are pretty good on the video side and they will definitely get better. By the time they come out wit a cinema centric camera, and you can bet your house they will, it will be very competitive with what is out there. And when it does all the "forum experts" will call it their dream camera made a reality.] I share This sentiment!
Could be the first real nikon d7100 footage. Looks very sharp and no aliasing and moire in the camera strap and Man hat. The filming is a bit horrible but it shows some potential. It looks like the d5200 sensor because they are finding some banding in the deep shadows in photos at Dpreview.
LOL way to go Nikon, the camera is officially out and still no video examples, it's as if the video market doesn't exist. It's such a shame because I like the Nikon colour palette better than Canon, Sony, or Panasonics, and that includes much more expensive pro cameras, it's much more filmic and Alexa like. Nikon does have a background in film, they used to make film cameras and lenses.
From what I've seen so far it does look like the Toshiba sensor without an OLPF.
