CS5 Launch Event... Ppro silence

Hey MagicCat (RE: your incredibly inflammatory post...j/k)

I certainly hope I did not offend you, offending you was directly opposite my intentions. There are those out there that will flame a person when the slightest inaccuracy is revealed or misquoted. I could obviously see you have been doing this, maybe longer than I, and furthermore, value and respect your input. I only wanted point out an inaccuracy, that could cause you some grief if read by the wrong person. Period.

I may have been out of line and am sorry if I was too bold. Admittedly, I work in a very open and honest environment/studio. There are no second chances once media is released, or an edit is handed over. As long as our crew mates understand that no matter how honest a statement is, it is always meant for their own welfare, (or the benefit of a project) and not someone's personal gain, the place runs smooth. There is a fine, but distinct line between self righteousness, and a passion to help others succeed. It took me a long time to get used to working in an environment like this, but am thankful to this day for it. (God knows the blunders I would still be going through if people never told me the truth about myself or abilities). That mindset may have bled out in my comment regarding your premiere background here. Believe me, there was nothing malicious intended what so ever. It was quite the opposite. I would not have said "PLEASE" 3 time before I even stated my observation.

Anyway, I dont mean to write a novel, but feel you should know where I was coming from. That is all. Really, I'm really not an A#$%le or an armchair quarterback.

Sincerely, and Apologetically,

David

Sorry again, my "j/k" must have been too subtle (j/k = just kidding)

No offense taken, none at all. I was just being sarcastic :)
