True, but if you are shooting professionally can't you get some of your tax back, or offset the VAT on your services (for commercial work) against the VAT on the camera?

Not everybody can get the tax back,
so, why make them pay almost the double for the same product !!!

even if you get the tax back, you still pay 30% more!!!

let me see, for 7D (body only), I will pay 2600$ or 1300$?

The second one is without VAT, right? I'm asking you 'cause you had posted «+ 19% tax».

Yet, can you enlighten me about their information on their stock, please?

Without VAT, the difference can acquire another picture for about €100 more.

I paid 1500€ vat included in Italy. Since your frequently here why bother with higher prices elsewhere?

Spoke to one woman at Jessops, and wanted to know if they price matched another big seller - Digital Depot. The Jessops woman asked in DD has the 7D in stock, I said not at the moment. She said that stores often will quote a low price on out of stock items, jacking it back up when they have it in, in order to keep your business.

True?
