Are you sure you understand the terms? 'Grey Market' refers to unauthorized importing, it doesn't have anything to do with authenticity or not. Much/most electronic gear is that much cheaper in Asia.

Is it with the Kit Lens 18-135? The best price you can find here in germany is around € 1750,- at the moment (incl. this kit lens + 19% tax). I would never buy a camera in oversea. Here I get the right to return the purchased product within 14 days and a full guarantee of 2 years...

With the USD -> Euro price nowadays back to the old good days, I wouldn't be so sure. 400-600 euros if not more, makes its difference.

Right. - The 7d´s for around that price are all sold out (first delivery) at any internet dealer for now. They are waiting for the next delivery around oct. 16th, and then oct. 30th.
