COLD CALLS by John Whalen featuring Blanchard Ryan (OpenWater) & Ben Bailey (CashCab)

Very cool new poster, Jack. I love it (A being my fave of the two). And the new tag line is perfect! Can't wait to see the grabs!

UHHHH....
dig THE b POSTER
i LIKE EMBALMING TELEMARKETERS IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT!

Wow Jack, both posters are freaking awesome. Having to pick I go with A. I like seeing the rest of his collar and her hand. I feel like theres alot of negative space in B. Both are stellar though. Nice work.

And Mark... Damn... That's bad ass. You know at first I thought those were just pics from the monster shack :)

Tim - the hair!! What is it freaking haircut season? It gets cooler so everyone loses the locks? Me, I'm going for the mohawk. Its a work in progress...

Well I know the script too, but I went with A because it was more subtle and less busy. I like the newest version a lot, Jack!

Jeff, it is funny how we are all cutting our hair now that it is getting cold. But I got received fairly well last night when I finally ditched the beanie for the shindig.

Thanks everyone.

Nice job! She even looks a little like Sharon Stone (way back when).

I also prefer A to B, however, it looks like her pinky has been amputated!

...

Also the tag line at the bottom of the poster "This fall 2008... " needs more breathing room. ...

My 2 cents.

Cool poster... remove the "this" before "fall 2008" just my opinion :)

do it like... "telemarketing is sexy again Fall 2008"

done and done.

Thanks for the kudos and critiques everyone.

back to editing.

I really loved the original version of this script that I read this summer. As I ponder it, I'm struck by how great the casting is for it. I've been TiVo-ing Cash Caband I think Ben is the perfect choice for this part. However, Blanchard in a tub is even more brilliant! BRILLIANT!

Great posters Jack.

Ian will be thrilled to see that his dog got a credit. :)
Right? I added you on to the billing block too. Was not sure what to credit you since "life saver" is not a usual position. But I thought "location manager" would be appropriate

Haha. Yeah. I would like to show you the behind the scenes photos with the jib over the tub/ on dolly tracks in this immense bathroom - but cannot get the Makeup Artist to send me the pics. Maybe we could start a letter writing campaign.

by the way Jack... love the avatar... I finally saw that movie this weekend... and wow...

Which movie?

EDIT: Oh. Cuckoo's Nest, lol.

Looking forward to it! Has shooting begun?

Yeah we shot last Monday Tuesday Wednesday of last week. I got an email from Blanchard saying how much she enjoyed working with everyone.

She was great to work with and she's a really game actress. When the mic cable wen't out and placing a wireless transmitter was problematic as she was in a fitted business skirt/jacket in a wide angle shot that she entered with her back to the camera and then turned around (showing all sides in other words), she reached for the role of gaff and tape the transmitter to her inner thigh! But what can you expect from someone who would literally swim with hungry sharks to get a film made.

It was awesome being there and getting a chance to work with you, Barry, and Timur (and Timur's crew). I learned a lot and it was a ton of fun.

Thanks a lot for the credit (only 1 's' in Chris though). :)
