C300: Canon C300 Mark II Announced & Pre-Order List at Texas Media Systems

I don't know if any of that can be called 'revolutionary'. The only thing Canon has on the cutting edge is their DPAF which looks fantastic for those situations where solid AF is key. Nothing out there beats it for AF but the rest of the the specs are merely a slight evolution or even par with cameras that have been out for a year. From examples seen I expected more out of the 120p given a crop instead of binning.
I'm just repeating what the upper level DPs were saying to me on the NAB floor in April.....and since then too....and I was using those terms in reference to the first C300 vs the MK II.

Sorry I thought you were using the term in relation to the options on the market. Yes compared to the C300I the C300II is revolutionary.

Compared to the entire market their DPAF is revolutionary.

Yes, on Saturday, we got to tryout the different auto focus options on the new camera....to say the least, lots of "oohs & aahs" from the attendees....

Well at least the C300 Mark II's "kit lens" is greatly improved over the C300 Mark I's "kit lens."

When I see that setup it makes me think the F5 or F55 is much better suited for work that requires a setup like that.

Right? I mean the C300 is nice to shoot because it's grab and go IMO
