C100: Canon C100 Mark II Announced 60P, New VF, & New OLED Panel Texas Media Systems

In the last pic with the Zacuto C-Finder, notice that the C100 Mark II display is too large to fit the C-Finder.

Haven't heard if Zacuto will offer a new mount mod for existing C-Finder owners.

Yes, the C100 Mark II speaker does play sound when playing recorded clips.

The pics are nice to see. Could you also shoot some side by side video and edit together a comparison so we can see if the new processor improves the image quality :)

With the new improved viewfinder the C100 Z-Finder isn't needed anymore.

Anyone who has access to a mk II and a mk I would make a huge favour to the community if he provided a comaprison between the two in terms of the image. No need to edit a video just Tiff frame grabs on Google Drive. One shot of a highly detailed landscape, and a couple of shots at3200 ISO and up. Just to make sure there's a difference as claimed by Canon or not.
 
Well I've got a mkI and am in Manhattan, if anyone nearby gets their hands on a mkII let me know. We'll go film some snowy central park landscapes or something. Or rainy central park landscapes, since that promise of snow turns out to have been a lie.
 
Does anyone knows if the accessories we bought for the C100 will be compatible with the new mark II like for example the wooden camera top plate ?
 
Most C100 accessories like the Wooden Camera and Genus Top Plates will work on the C100 Mark II.

Zacuto C-finder does not fit the new OLED display.

C-Cup does not fit the re-designed EVF.

What about it? with the C100 mk II it will allow recording 1080p 4:2:2 ProRes through the HDMI that's suitable for broadcast acquisition (the 300$ Ninja Star would do the same, but the Shogun is also a great 1080p external monitor with many great tools.
 
Is anyone excited about the new camera? It just seems to have almost no one energized, it feels like every other camera that is coming out or has come out in the last year has 10x the coverage/posts. I guess I am just expressing frustration that Canon seemingly is releasing such an under specced camera, and I wanted to say it out loud.
