Bmx video!

Dude, that was insane.....Did you do some basic CC'ing on this or was master ped just really low? The shadowed areas are just crushed, but I really could care less because the footage is just crazy...

That dude is a monster flatlander.....Wow, wish I saw that kind of stuff around my campus....

I'm really surprised this hasn't gotten as many responses yet.....Anyway, great job! Love the reactions you guys got from the people on campus.....

the last shot in the credits right before the 'the end' is the best! I think it could have used more shots up close and personal like that.

This makes me want to dust off my old vhs copy of 'Rad'

Nice shots, incredible skills! I crack up when people walk by and pay no attention. I would at least watch, and clap. Maybe even throw a dollar in the hat.

LoL Derrick ... Rad! I vaugely remember that movie.

Thanks for peepin' it guys! Yeah I did some CC in post, I like the look! and I was really surprised I got it to match fairly well the whole way through, it was the first time I'd diddled with CC stuff.

I'm doing another cut that will have more of the moving shots in it, this was the stuff I picked out in a quick run through of the footage!

Terry is probably one of the coolest, and nicest athletes I've worked with at Red Bull. Not to mention he kills it!

Thanks!

SICK! Man that was realy nice bro!

Damn I am not a big BMX fan I'm more into freeride and downhill but damn flatland is the shizzle.

Agreed... very nice!

I think it hasn't gotten a lot of responses yet 'cause it's entitled "BMX video". We get so many skateboarding, snowboarding, etc videos around here, and I think people tend to get tired of them.

Only advice would be to try to add some MOVING shots in there. A small jib would do wonders, or a dolly, or a steadicam, or ANYTHING to add some movement would take the production value up a LONG WAY on this. It has potential.

i like it. terry adams is good, i remember him from a whiles back, there was this site called bmxtrix.com it had a few videos of him on it

i agree with brown a dolly shot would be real cool since he is staying in a semi small area

Totally agree with you guys on the moving shots. Only problem, we didn't have permission to be any where we were, so it really was run and gun, and I only had 4 hours to pick him up from the airport, go to campus, shoot, and then get him back to the airport, we were on a pretty crazy schedule!

That being said I do agree, I have a dolly, and a kessler crane just not on this shoot!

I'm already trying to arrange another shoot where we can set up at some locations I know I'll be able to shoot with out getting hassled!

Thanks for checkin' it out and the feedback!

i havent shot any flat in a looong time. i shot one of those redbull circle of balance comps for props a few years ago. before that i had never really hung out with half those dudes. shooting flatland you can definately do a lot more creative wise, most times at least. but those dudes can be so finiky about their tricks and it can take a full day for them to be happy with something, haha.

but very good video, terry is an awesome rider.
