I liked the script a lot too.
Fun characters and nice acting.

I enjoyed it.
 
Yay! I've just started watching the films and I'm stoked.

So contestants, when you read my reviews you can imagine they're coming from the little dog over there wearing the cowboy hat. (You can make up whatever voice you want)

I liked:

1. The title song & montage
2. The gold backlighting when he puts his hat on
3. The fact that there's some kind of robbery going on, but screw that, we're going right into another story line.
4. The guy's voice & his hackneyed one-liners
5. Any film with the word "Killaz" in the title has to be good, right?

Editing issues were mentioned and I agree. I also think the soundtrack got a little heavy handed at times.

This makes me wish I tried to blast something out for the fest. Very cool!

I still hear the voice of the dog from "Men in Black II"!

This was absolutely your best film - very ironically funny. I really loved that overacting of the guy with the gold teeth. You have a very good view for the details in this short. Compliments!

Just found the few BTS pictures I have....there are only a few, but you get the idea.
As a one-man-show, you can see how I use a C-stand with a 40" arm that I tape a boom pole to as my "Boom man".
It worked great in this case.
Notice the ZazaSlider...never leave home without it! :beer:

Here's my SD 722. I made a nice 15' two channel snake (the blue cable) so I can not only record to the
722, but feed the camera redundant audio. I used the overhead on one channel and a
lav on the other. Audio was very clean.

nah, crews are overrated, i don't have anyone and nor does MAH. but come to think of it... a crew would be rather helpful wouldn't it? LOL.
