Barry Green's AF100 Book?

Nice. I have the books for my DVX and HPX, so I will definitely order this one as well! Thanks for getting a jump on it, Barry!

Thank you Barry. Side note: when I originally asked Barry about the af100 book timeline, a bunch of rude people practically bit my head off. Now I certainly feel vindicated, and as I said at the time: Barry is a class act - he was super helpful and polite... if only everyone held to these standards, this would be a wonderful world. I'm looking forward to this, and my money is ready... when I buy the camera I'm buying Barry's book, no question.

I'll be honest with you, I was a little hesitant about asking Barry because of the same reason but I realized if I don't ask I'll never know :) And Barry's really cool to the point where I'm sure he won't mind.

I was one of the first along with others to get the DVX Book/DVD and one of the first for the HMC Book and never regretted the purchases

hey Barry, any possibility they'll include your book with the camera like was done in the past? sorry if it's been asked already.

Nobody has asked that question yet. So I haven't answered.

Is there any possibility? Why, yes, of course there's a possibility...

will the pages be noise free? ;)

I was wondering that too… Will I be able to read it in low light - say lit by one measly candle? Will there be vertical banding on the pages? How about in full sunlight, will the pages be subject to blowout? Will it be as good as the manual for the Scarlet? Will I be able to use my autofocus eyes to read it? ;) /sarcasm *in case you needed to be told* Just getting a little punchy with the conversation as I wait for the cameras to arrive.

On a side note -- I've had meetings with ad agency clients this week ( Grey , Group M, Y&R etc) and every one of them asked about using this camera. Big change from last year when they all wanted Canon DSLR's, or the year before when they all wanted RED's.

Will the book and/or accompanying DVD reference the Sound or Lighting DVD's because that would be cool and an incentive to own them all.

Well, yes, but only in the "about the author" section. But if someone wants the whole set, we'll definitely work up a deal for 'em.
