C300: Back To the 80's

Awesome. [Just like the 90s one.]

I really love those two decades (especially the 90s). And not just because of the personal nostalgia but because it was such a surreal time that mixed the old world with the new world...right on the brink of a big technology bang that would forever change everything.

Even the 50s-60s-70s had similarities to the above decades.

It just feels like such a different world now (for better AND for worse).
 
Fun stuff. And about the only time I've seen that brutal street facade at Avenue Six studios actually fit the material!
 
Haha, yeah that place is something... I pumped that tiny set with haze and fog and crossed my fingers the wind wouldn't blow it all away before we got to the chorus.
Charles, been spending time with a mutual friend on another team effort project with Scout! Wouldn't mind picking your brain on that offline sometime!

Indiawilds, honestly can't say what the budget was. The two creators funded it and I know it's gotta get several million hits before they come even close to getting back what they paid in. Director is a friend of mine and we shoot plenty of branded content and commercials so it was a lot of call in favors.

The school concert was quite the undertaking and certainly the most costly day. We shot the intro/outro and the concert in the gym all in one day. Had a prelight the day before.
