F35: As good as the original Sony F35 but this cam shoots in 4K

Quick comparison here:

Sony F35 at 200% in AE:

And here's the new 4K camera for comparison:

D.jpg

No sharpening involved.

Below are 2D spectrum for each of larger images.

F35

"new 4K"
FFT of B.jpg

They are quite similar but 4K version has less aliasing noise and other high frequency component which is not typical for sharpening.
It may be visual effect rather than real 4K sampling.

I knowwwww I'm trying so hard not to ebay because the cost to print S35 is out of my reach (maybe not horrible for shorts though).

I was saving up to get an F35 as its been my dream camera for a while and I have a much bigger interest in it than the new guys like the mini 4.6k or other sony cams.

And all this new stuff is coming out but the CCD in my DB 16 got me hooked on the look plus S16 glass and now a big interest in just shooting celluloid.

So funny to think that everyone considers it a "vintage" look now...

Guys, its the same camera. Besides being obvious with his wording and the colors we see, I blew up the blow-ups of the brick and sign pics 500% and the angles and shadows around the head of light post are too exact of a match to be able to switch cameras and get it that close. This is uprezzing or maybe very good sharpening, much like I proposed a LONG time ago should be done for the 7Q, if it were possible, but Mitch shot that idea down. Nice, so how is it done!? Or are you just throwing focus out slightly? :D

Edit: I'm confused about the other pics posted of that parking lot. The two full pics are from the same shot except they are one or two frames apart. Neither has the "4K" treatment applied however. The blow ups posted of that sign have the treatment applied to the one but its not from either of the two full pics. So this isn't on the fly "4K" but a post treatment, either that or you only posted a 1080 version twice for the full shot.

I mean I'm hoping it's a proper pixel shift uprez using the 444RGB information. I tried to suss that out a few months ago but couldn't figure it out... has Hunter cracked it?

The beautiful thing is honestly.....

who gives a poo poo?

we are all trolling each other....in hopes to Only to awaken each other...just like what Ed did

the first shot is f35 with a Zeiss 10-100mm 16mm lens upscale with AE

second is f23 footage shot with the 3.9mm upscaled with AE

who cares?? Get money and Just make art

seriously

make art

>Detail preserve upscale
Could be - but mac wrote..

"Here's some footage of this new camera"
"this damn thing is sooo cheap"
"my new toy"
"And here's the new 4K camera for comparison"

which suggests kit not software .. hope so
