Anyone have kids?

My son is 26 and I'm 45. Once they stop being loud, they then take all of your money, just thought you should know. My son and I still go to arcades together, how cool is that?

I think some people forget.
Between the diapers, then growing out of clothes every 2 minutes, followed by daycare, etc... I'm really looking forward to University. :)
Daycare alone is very expensive.

:D

Three. A daughter of nine and twins (boy/girl) of six. They occupy my time when I'm not at work. I do an a**load of laundry.

Crushing their spirits also takes up a fair amount of my time. They'll love what therapy will do for them in their adult lives.

Yeah... I knew you were young (I have tee-shirts older than you!). It is expensive these days, my older daughter attends Boston University...OUCH... that's an expensive school. You have to do it though, you have to give them the best chance these days.

...when I was 20, I was touring with Alice Cooper "Only Women Bleed Tour", my band was opening for them...I don't even think you were born yet?

Damn... I'm depressing myself!:(

Hey Zaza, I can't remember, but did you ever tell me what instrument you played? I think you played bass and I think I clicked a link a while back where your band was playing a song...

I used to be a crazy wilderness adventurer. Spent most of my time adventuring the wildest places in the lower 48. I got married about three years ago, have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. I've gained 40 lbs. I got my high-def studio so I can get back out there in the wilds and make some great adventure flicks, get back in shape, make some moolah in the process, and have a great career to share with my two boys as they get older.

Yes Tom... I did, but like any musician I know...burn-out! :) LOL!!
I play: Banjo, Bass, Guitar (acoustic & electric), Ukulele, Dulcimer, Fiddle, Keyboards & Trumpet.

...pretty much anything you can throw at me... I can play! (Comes from years of the road & music retail)

Michael Anthony - daycare? HA! I paid for my son's college tuition, plus his rent, PLUS his car insurance... no way he could pay for rent on his own after his bad experience with a room mate, he was not going that way again. Kid suck us dry and yet we LOVE 'EM for everything.

I'll spend as much in daycare this year as most people do on a years tuition.

Now, it's not my fault that you are allowing a grown person to milk you dry. :D
j/k
My wife and I both worked our way through school, so will our children. They will get help, but they will not be carried. My Nephews are in high school and they already have part time jobs to pay for phones and car insurance.

Edit: You're talking to a guy who paid rent as a teenager. As soon as we got a job (as did all of my siblings) we had to pitch in at home.

Daycares suck. Your kid got a sniffle? Somebody needs to come get them right now! They don't open early enough, and the don't stay open late enough. We are looking for a Mary Poppins.

Oh my, sweet shirt. I saw GBH in San Diego when I was 13 years old.

Anyway, I have a couple rascals myself, 5 & 7, both awesome, both my life.

Dude they still kick ass ! Best punk bands ever !

Haha, 20 in october scarily enough. Kinda that (you are still screwed age). I have friends at Boston University. Nice school. And yeah you do. That piece of paper is so important in the market today.

And as for the daycare deal. I am an assistant director at one. A dollar a day for those kids. We are there 8:30 - 4:15. With 113 kids there. But I also worked at a 6000 dollar a summer one years ago too.

I hate daycare personally. I would never send a child there. It's amazing the stuff that happens at these places.

We found him drawing on his face the other day...It reminded me of something so I touched it up a little bit. :)

His twin sister. (Who was terrified of the stuff on his face and hid under the kitchen table.) She's all about flowers, in case you couldn't tell.

Wow, I see a lot of us have boy/girl twins. I've been meaning to start a caption contest for this (look for a different thread someday).

And since my wife insists on me posting "cute" pics:
