Anyone have kids?

I'm 42 and my wife is 41. She has a 22 year old girl who lives in Australia and a 20 year old girl who is attending university out of town. Together we have a 5 year old boy who just means the world to us. I was 36 when he was born and I thought it was a good time for me because I had been able to establish myself fairly well prior to having children. I can't imagine trying to establish myself now with a 5 year old to look after. My wife works full time, so I am Mr.Mom and I'm able to run my business from home. When I go out to shoot (my other business) I usually bring Connor and he brings his camera to "help" by taking pictures. The downside is that we always intended to give him a brother/sister, but have failed 3 times, usually around the 20 week mark. Worst experiences of our lives. May be age related but the doctors said it wasn't.

Been thru that so many times. It really is hard.

I have one hundred and thirteen of them...

Well, when I am working anyways. I enjoy it most of the time. Other times, I want to kill them. I don't know if kids are for me. But I have to first tackle the steady girlfriend. :)

I was (and am) 35 and my wife was of a similar maturity. Glad we got two at once as I'm feeling creaky enough as it is. I've started working out again just so I'll be able to do things with the kids when they're older. Ich bin creaky.

2 daughters...19 & 15...OH the drama!

(and that's not counting my 'other' 2 kids... the ex-wife & her boyfriend, who live off the child support...D'OUGH!)

I have 2. a 3 year old daughter who is totally out of her mind and 7 month old son that is totally out of his mind. My house is a loud, toy infested, insane asylum. I love them, but it is not easy. Everything changed when they came along. EVERYTHING.
Hello,

I had twins boy/girl 11 yrs ago. My daughter lived with a terminal illness until the the age of 1. My son is now 11 yrs old and going onto middle school this fall.

If it were not for my experience with my daughter, I would not have dwelved into this field with TV media. I was in the banking field for over 12 yrs before my twins. Health awareness topics are my fortay with my work now.

Have I mentioned I am 19? And single?

Haha, only joking my friend. But us 20ish year olds can be slightly annoying, and expensive. College is great isn't it? Gotta love spending the money for higher ed.

Man I feel for you. Being a kid now is nothing like it was when we were kids. We had no internet, or text messaging. we played games outside. Freeze tag, Hide and seek, Rode bikes, red light-green light, knock out, etc. We had fun playing with each other. These kids now are so different. My kids will no doubt be the same way. Most of us turn into our parents anyway. How cool will it be to know that we just aint cool anymore?

Those who have kids will understand...

Oh my, sweet shirt. I saw GBH in San Diego when I was 13 years old.

Anyway, I have a couple rascals myself, 5 & 7, both awesome, both my life.

My little girl. This was taken on the gondola at Mont-Tremblant over the weekend.

I'm with ya'... I use to get kicked out of the house after breakfast and not allowed back in until supper. We used to play with a rock & a stick...ALL day. If I wanted to get somewhere, I either walked or rode my bike. I had chores that HAD to be done and if I was lucky, I'd get my .25 cent allowance and was happy about it. If I wanted something really bad, I'd take on more chores, mow lawns, deliver papers, take care of pets...anything until I had enough.
Life was very different 40 years ago.

Then...along came Pong!!

Yeah... I knew you were young (I have tee-shirts older than you!). It is expensive these days, my older daughter attends Boston University...OUCH... that's an expensive school. You have to do it though, you have to give them the best chance these days.

...when I was 20, I was touring with Alice Cooper "Only Women Bleed Tour", my band was opening for them...I don't even think you were born yet?

Damn... I'm depressing myself!:(
