GH4 Any new info on 3 axis gimbals for GH4 ?

I am torn between the Ronin M and the Moza Lite. I love the design and price of the Moza, but I'm not familiar with Gudsen or their customer service. I have had great experience with DJI. They are well established and their customer service experience has been great with other products I own by them.

Either you've never contacted their customer service or your have some kind of "in"... DJI's customer service is TERRIBLE. And I say this as someone who's owned (or owns):

S900
A2
Zenmuse Z15-GH4
Phantom 1
(3) Phantom 2s
(4) Zenmuse H3-3Ds
Zenmuse H4-3D
Ronin (full-size)
Naza-M V2 flight controller

I love DJI's products. They're pretty good at "just working" but when they don't, things get hairy. Their customer service and support after the sale, especially on their "pro" gear is NOWHERE NEAR the level it should be if they want to be taken seriously in the "pro" market. Repairs take FOREVER (seriously, 6+ weeks of downtime to do simple parts replacements), they have really silly rules (send in my entire S900 airframe to replace a user-serviceable plastic cover... JUST SELL ME THE PART!), communication problems, etc.

DJI's service and support are pretty widely panned... it's their Achilles heel and it's the main reason there's such a big opening for the 3DR Solo.

Wow! Sounds I did get lucky then :)

That being said....they are a billion dollar company now, so at least they are somewhat established. I have never even heard of the other company! So perhaps I need to choose between the lesser of two evils?

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Ronin M. It is supposed to ship within 10 business days, so I will share some samples as soon as I get it! I plan to use it for wedding work and a couple promotional videos I have scheduled this month and next.

I guess DJI price(usually only a fraction of other similar pro-products) is fair for it non-professional after-sales-service, the best way is to buy from a DJI dealer near your home, they are more likely to help talk to DJI if you run into trouble.

After buying the inspire 1 I have a Ronin-M in order already. 3Kg payload is excellent for GH4 or 1DC. My dealer say I can try to stick it under the S1000 too

Let me know how you go.
I'm also a wedding videographer and haven't reached a satisfactory setup.
The GH4 atop the Glidecam hasn't worked for me in the past.
I borrowed the Gremsy H14 to team with the Sony FS7 last month but that was too many hassles.
I am trying to quickly save for the Moza Lite (which is approx. AU$1200 on pre-order). But it'll be another three weeks before I have that money.
I'll be interested how the Ronin M stacks up.
The Ronin will cost about $1000 more (than the pre-order price of the Moza Lite), it weighs about 600g more.
However, the Ronin has an estimated 6hr battery, which is fantastic.

Any news on the 4th access? The up and down from walking? Is that fixed with a dual arm vest system only?

Just finished high school and the grad money has been rolling in. Debating between a new telephoto or gimbal. I'm ready to move away from my Glidecam 2000; and the Moza Lite looks really promising. Will have to see...

So I bit the bullet and bought the Moza Lite just before the pre-release sale finished.
Ended up costing about AU$1350.00, which is approximately AU$820.00 less than the DJI Ronin M retails for over here.
The impressive thing about the price is when you compare it to the Came Mini 2, which actually costs more despite, very likely, being lesser quality.
The website says shipping will occur "20 working days after the payment confirmed". This means I'm unlikely to see the gimbal until sometime in July.
Anyone know where Gudsen hails from?

Did you order the Premium version though? WIth thumb controller? Its not like for like with the Ronin-M otherwise.

I'm tempted by it too, but there's very little about it online.

I was also thinking about the Moza but after noticing every review or post I found was by people selling it and acting like potential customers I just ordered the Ronin M. Search for Moza or Ronin on DPreview, the shill accounts posted to most of them,,, one week asking "have you heard of the Moza, I am thinking about getting it really looks great from what I here....it has X and Y blah blah" a month latter the account has there web site lester as Gubson (distributer) I built a few carbon kit gimbals and several of the FB pages on brushless gimbals used to be great sources of information but now have also been taking over with spam from these guys. Ended up happy with the Ronin M and it was nice knowing if I got a lemon I could just ship it back to B&H for another one. One word of warning the Ronin M Android app does not work OIS is good and they just sent me a new version for my iMac that also works.

Really want to order the Moza Lite, but can't spend the money without anyone testing it out. Hopefully come June there should be some reviews out.

I was going to get the Moza, but I decided that it is worth the extra cost to have a product from an established company. They may not have the best customer service, but I have had quality results with their Phantom.

After receiving the Ronin-M on Friday, I feel fully confident I made the right choice. The quality of this entire product is fantastic. Solid feeling, very intuitive, and very stream-lined. It is very light. I used it for a wedding all day yesterday and really never got tired.

I would highly recommend this product. The only thing I would recommend is the thumb controller. I wish that were standard.

Here is a little test footage I did with the GH4 yesterday at the wedding:

Great footage! Did you just have a hand on the lens to rack focus on a couple of those shots?
