Another great Old Spice ad.

So... now that your film has been submitted...you have nothing better to do than surf YouTube for Old Spice commercials? Isn't that Pookie's job?

LOL!! I was looking at Por..I mean wholesome family stuff online, I came across that and was dying laughing. I think they are creative as hell.

Next to film, I'd love to be doing commercials with such creativity as the Old Spice and the Most Interesting Man in the World spots. I don't see why certain companies want the same boring old crap when spots like these are entertaining in and of themselves.

Interview with the guys who are coming up with these. Apparently the first one really was done in one take with next to zero CGI.

The thing that gets me at the end is he's wearing jeans. I can justify everything else away, but I can't wrap my brain around that.

That definitely looks like cgi to me.

They were obviously trying to outdo the original commercial in terms of the "how did they do that" factor. But, I think they were successful. Good stuff.

He's now responding to his fans...

Another take on it. I picked up on this a few days ago after checking out Google Trends.
Still, it could have been done CG. Still fun to see how this particular one was done.

(Notice the horse trainer coaching the horse as well.)

Yeah, on the original post #1.

He does say in an interview he was wearing jeans the whole time but wouldn't divulge the secret.

Maybe the jeans weren't real jeans, as in the thick denim material but a maybe thin silky plastic material painted or dyed to look like jeans? That way he could have them rolled up under his shorts a bit without too much obvious difficulty? Then whatever manual technique to pull them down and/or the other shorts off? That's all I got right now.

normally they don't use too much CGI with these. I'm waitiing for the BTS. It's coming soon. I think they are great ads. Between Him and "the most Interesting man in the world" I don't know which ads I like more. They both crack me up.

Yeah. I love those Dos Equis commercials. The narration is hilarious. "If he punches you in the face, you have to hold back to prevent yourself from thanking him..."

LOL. "His blood smells like cologne" we could go on and on. Check out the youtube stuff on him. There are tons of those I have never seen.
