all we can do now is wait... oh and the avatar, its from a game ( its one of the character pointing a handgun). Haven't found the one i want to use yet. :-/

I'm so looking forward to this.

From the research I did after going to DVExpo. The XL2 is still a clear winner above DVX100a and FX1 or Z1U.

If it was just interlaced ... Z1U is sweet ! Even with the heavier HDV pipeline.

Speaking of animated avatars, what could be worse than an invasion of space doughnuts, conquering earth by making us all too fat to move?

Of course, we can but hope this does not happen before the comparison gets posted.

I just heard a totally unsubstantiated rumor that the DVX/XL2/FX1 review will be released on christmas eve. A glorious Christmas gift from Barry and Jarred to all of us here @ dvxuser ... ;D

Hi Jared and Barry,

You guys are probably very busy trying to put together this comparison but I'm been waiting eagerly for this to make my final decision on a purchase.
We are a very happy owner of a DVX100 model but we need a second camera and we might purchase in 2004 for tax reasons.

Anyway, I'm wonder if you have a probable date for the posting?
