for rods Petros, brian over at Redrock Micro had the af100 rigged to their baseplate, Zeiss CP2 prime, FF and matte box with 12" long rods. this size was roomy for a prime setup but longer rods im sure would be needed for a zoom if your keeping the mattbox on.
The body itself is about six and a half inches, from the front of the lens mount to the back of the SD card door.About the manual: the dimensions list the length of the AF100 body as 11-7/16 inches. Is that from the tip of the handgrip to the end of the viewfinder eyepiece (without the rubber eyecup?). I'm looking at the drawing in the manual as a reference.

The only way I can make it measure 11 7/16 inches is from the front of the removable top handle (the pointy-out bit at the very front) to the back of the rubber eyecup. Not the eyepiece, mind you, but the back of the rubber eyecup! From the handle to the back of the eyepiece is 9 1/4 inches.
I still need AF100 manual Vol 1
I got Vol 2 off the internet, but can't locate Vol 1
thanks ... found it under a tab on this page ... lots of other good info also ....Go back to the AG-AF100 page and look under the Resources Tab. You will find it there.
Thanks,
Jan
