AF100 Manual?

Not one as of today according to Panasonic reps I talked to face to face

Jumping on the bandwagon here. I'm a big believer in reading manuals before taking possession of complex equipment - that way you can immediately check it out thoroughly and exchange if defective. Better prepared is always better prepared.

A manual does exist. Apparently, I was around one for four days and didn't know it was there! (I was on the "A Verse Before Dying" shoot)

My book is not the manual. Panasonic is writing the user's manual, which is the same kind of thing as has always been included. A preliminary draft exists, but no final version has been released.
My book is now at the printers. It will be rolling off the presses sometime around the second week of January.

Anyone who gets me a Voigtlander 25mm/f0.95 at MSRP (or less) gets a free autographed copy right now. I'll print off and staple a copy of The AF100 Book on my color printer, and sign it. :thumbsup:

Not sure how long this will work but I have posted over on Yousendit copies of the two manuals for the AF100. They will show up on our website soon enough but I just got these and from this discussion saw that many are interested. So this link will only be good for 14 days from today, but by then it will be on the AF00's product page.

Jan, Thanks for the link to the manuals. It's great to be able to read a bit about the camera before it arrive in the next few weeks.
