I may do a separate how-to article for that on the future sister site sheepuser.com.

For those interested in such things: Aetas was made using 100% natural lighting (sun & fire) and a reflector. Not a single artificial light (tungsten, fluoro, led, hmi, etc.) was used.
You know you stood right next to me when you were talking to Jarred in the RED booth at NAB
I have seen you, but you have not seen me...... ooohh spooky.

Jerry, Ken and I are prepped and ready for our final shoot of 'Aetas' for Timefest, tonight!
I am stoked for you! Good luck with the shoot!
Thanks! It involves a homemade torch and a beach cave. Here's to hoping we have no cast/crew lit on fire or any awkward conversations with park rangers!![]()
In all seriousness you should bring a couple of fire extinguishers with you if you aren't already. Thanks! It involves a homemade torch and a beach cave. Here's to hoping we have no cast/crew lit on fire or any awkward conversations with park rangers!![]()

Unless of course you need a shot of him engulfed in flames while running screaming out of the cave. In that case I would suggest that he stop drop and roll once he hits the sand. Then cue the extinguishers. Or not.
Depends on what footage you need.
Good luck tonight!

I figured as much.Fire extinguisher packed! But in all seriousness, it's just to look good to anyone that stops. The way in which we are going to use it will be quite safe.
