$65 Loupe on T2i it rocks!

I haven't heard back from the seller in a few days myself, I messaged him about selling packs of 5 mounting frames but no response yet. I think he may have been overwhelmed by demand. Those of you who have ordered yours have they come yet?
 
Just got mine in the mail today from that seller that Jordan is linking to. ^^

First impressions are pretty good regarding design. And right, no diopter correction available. But you do get a really cool carry case! :Drogar-Shock(DBG): $100 bucks, tho, kiss my ass. I KNOW these things will be like 25 bucks in a few months.

It came with no instructions. Anyone got a good tip on how to mount the sticker to the back? Like should I weight it down and let it set overnight?

And also, it appears there is some kind of sensor for a remote control or something on the T2i. Just below the eyepiece. Wonder if it's bad to cover it up…….:undecided

There may be more to it but that sensor is to shut off the LCD when you put your eye to the built in view finder during photo mode.
 
I just bought the LCDVF 3:2 from glidetrack.com, I'll tell you guys as soon as I get it delivered how it is, just a basic review or something!

No diopter correction (still usable from +1 to -4).

That settles it for me. I don't know what "still usable from -1 + to -4" means. Every viewfinder I've ever used in my life was focusable and there was a specific point at which it was sharp. Anything softer and I would turn the diopter. Not worth saving $100 or so over the hoodman at least for me.

I would grab the HoodLoup in a heartbeat if it had a decent way to attach it like this. The straps and the "hoodcrane" method is bogus
 
I'm truly amazed at the number of acounts in this particular thread that have less than 30 posts and are totally in when it comes to handing out 50 bucks + 19 shipping to a total stranger based on a very secretive OP and a deal that seems too good to be true.

69 bucks X 50 people = 3450 Dollars in cash, and scamming 50 people out of such a relatively small amount is pretty safe I'd say but it pays good.

Seriously, anyone who ACTUALLY considders buying into this - re-read this whole thread, then look at all the handles who are 'in' on this group purchase, what the nicks are and how many posts on dvxuser they have. I'd say any below 30 without an avatar is part of a scam, and anyone with an avatar and over 100 posts is about to be suckered in.

You're probably right. There's people that scam others every day. Hell, my grandma scammed my ass for 25 bucks once. If I can't trust my grandma, I aint trust no other mofo....I'm just saying,

Im waiting on a Zfinder JR in the mail. def pricey for a loupe (yup the jr version) for me...but living in jamaica i dont have the luxury of gettin to try things out and sending them back like that, so i have to try and buy good once.

I'm not "in" simply because I already have a Hoodman. I doubt very highly this is a scam. It is what it is: a cheap LCD loupe/viewfinder without dioptric adjustment and a frame which may sit on the t2i's light sensor.

I was thinking of getting the hoodman with the 2x viewfinder attachment, I just wish I could stick it on the camera screen permanently, I find if I hold my eye on the current viewfinder I can get pretty stable shots so I was thinking of doing it with one of these on the LCD screen. I probably could mount it myself with something..hmm time to whip out the JB weld

Hello Everyone, the seller just emailed me, he said he should have more in the next week, looking at how many people are saying they want one I asked if he would be willing to sell to us for $59.99 which is less than what I paid. Waiting for a response back from him.

BTW: I am not taking anyones money period, I was thinking the seller could setup a pre-approved list of buyers from DVXuser using your ebay User IDs that way you guys can get the better price.

Because the number of posts a user has automatically proves legitimacy.... I bet it's the illuminati that's behind this
