$65 Loupe on T2i it rocks!

So I took a chance and ordered this off of eBay last week, it said it was for the 5d but I thought it was worth a shot. It got here from China in 4 days. I've been wanting to post since I got it but haven't had much time. This will be brief but I will update it soon. I can say the quality is great and I have used it now on 3 shoots and every single time I use the focus assist to check myself, my subjects are in Razor sharp focus. I was very impressed with the build quality and the quality of the accessories that were thrown in with the kit.

What I got.

The loupe
A nice carrying case - similar to the material my Kata bags are made out of. It has a strap so I can attach it to my existing camera bag.
A huge lens cleaning cloth - one like you get with an iClean computer cleaning kit
Magnetic frame for mounting

So far I love it and so do my friends who have tried it. Sorry for the crappy pics, shot with my iPhone.

One more note, the inside of it which I will take pics of later is lined with black velvet to control light scatter.
 
Looks good, would be kind of you to mention the name of the seller, so others can search for it too.
 
When you make a post like this you need to include an actual link + seller that you bought it from......

It's like telling someone a secret without telling them a secret.
 
I didn't inlcude the link because I have seen in earlier posts people getting flack for linking straight to ebay for stuff like that. So mods if I am breaking any rules please let me know. By no means am I trying to keep it a secret. I actually talked with seller about doing a group buy which he said he may be able to bring the price down to $50 if enough people order them.

If the seller doesn't have any listed just message them. That is how I got mine.

It attaches with a magnetic frame and covers 99% of the frame if not all of it IMO.

BTW there are several more sellers but all are at least $100
 
Curious how it might do on a GH1...the evf is alright most of the time, but for such a low price, a loupe would be handy!

Exactly, seems very very fishy. First of all the op does not link to the seller, second when he finally does link to the seller you can clearly see that the seller only has 3 feedbacks in the past 12 months???????


How or why on earth would someone who owns a t2i buy something for a 5d and more importantly how could they gamble their money on someone who obviously is not an active seller and on top of that from another country?


How in the world does the op sound when he says that he messaged the seller privately for this sale? I mean how would you know he was selling these + how did you even know how to contact him?


Finally $65 + $19 shipping is not $65 , more like $84.


This thread and more importantly ebay seller + op sounds like one big headache that I would never fall into. This seems like a super scam waiting to happen, buyers beware!
