5D MKIII specs

Brick walls maybe better, but at 1:30 the houses are blown out. DR doesn´t seem much improved. I don´t know if this film would look any different on an MK2.
 
No, I'm liking, I'm liking. The Eye of the Mind looked organic and lovely. And indeed, the bricks would have fallen apart on our 5dii, even at 960/540. Starting to feel hopeful. I do so love the full frame thing.

I'm wary. It really does look like a sharpening job on a lot of this footage, but I'll bite. Will put my hands on this asap.

Kholi, here, same impression, 5DII will be replaced by a new girlfriend ;-) Hope not only for fun : D

The video with the little girl has plenty enough for me to make a decision. If it is a post sharpening job you'll know as soon as you look at footage.

... now to find an early body... to at least mess with.
 
Kholi, feel free to delete duplicated posts please. Now I succeeded or it looks like so. But as soon as you speak in mess, here comes again. You know I like to kid, but only when there's some femminile reason to go with, camera brand included. Otherwise, beware! Thank you, mate : )

Assuming the ISO 6400 still image wasn't post-produced to hell and back -- yeah, it's truly impressive.

On a visual level those three sample movies certainly do blow away Nikon's D4 and D800 videos. Hell, that D800 video could have been produced on a 5Dm2.

So, although it's still very, very early -- I'd say anyone who has condemned the camera at this point isn't thinking too clearly.
 
Definitely more encouraging than any of the Nikon videos, or the 1D Videos.

If the footage was not run through some short of post sharpening, then right now it looks like it's damned close or at the same point as GH2 from those videos at 960x540.

When higher res video is released, we'll know for sure. But, I want to play.
 
Hey! I just saw on the end of the Mario&Nette where they show scenes with lenses used they Posted EF 24-70mm f2.8L IS II USM ! Not just once but twice, Does that mena that the New 24-70 NOW has IS ?! whooohoo!

It is interesting to see the behind the scenes of that marionette movie as it was shot with the 5DMii. Even though the shots are intended to be more functional than beautiful it is easy to see where the new codec shines over the previous.
We get the smudgy grass and the moiré patterns of bricks. The usual suspects.
I am still excited about this camera, even though I hoped for uncompressed HDMI-out.
