5D MKIII specs

Nice rhyme. Speaking of dub, dubstep! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkYhneTczXo
Back on topic, the 5D3's performance specs will allow it to be fully utilized in shooting sharp, low-light, low-noise, dubstep music videos. Like this:

Speakers still working? Turn 'em up, here's another one (1080p):

Just got me a spanky new 5D MKIII. Magic hour, 5000 ISO, f/11 HTP on, IPB. Oh yeah baby! Looks cleaner and has more DR than the MKII at 1250 ISO.

The guy at Canon that decided to move the zoom button should be sent to live with my mother in law....for all eternity!

What's with the error msg using manual lenses? I have to hit buttons randomly to make it go away. Rolling shutter looks slightly reduced but handheld is still a big no no. I hope Zacuto have those z-finder frames ready asap...I can't see sh!#

Congrats. Assign the zoom button to SET, works great. Have you done the Bridge Climb yet? Good place to test the camera (probably need a special tour- usually no cameras allowed).

I know the rolling shutter is only slightly reduced, but when I tested the camera I found that the Jello was greatly reduced. Seems inconsistent. Could you doublecheck this?

Sorry I don't really have time to do MKII vs MKIII tests, I'm rehearsing actors all week and trying to get on top of the MKIII so I can start shooting a film on the weekend. I'm just grading something that I shot on my steadytracker with lots of camera movement. I didn't even bother to balance the steadytracker properly. I'll put it up on vimeo soon.

As the read/reset times get faster, the perceivability of jello goes away faster than the skew on panned shots. I tested this A LOT with my 7D, FS100 and AF100 to understand where I could use them. Think if it this way as well, if for a pan you get 50 pixels difference between the top and bottom of the frame, a rolling shutter twice as fast would be 25 pixels, and 4 times as fast 12.5 pixels. You are still going to notice that on that fast a pan. It's bizarre how we perceive these things.

Pertaining to sharpening, most of these cameras have ALREADY been applying sharpening all along, I don't get what the fuss is about? The difference here is people are preferring post sharpening to Canon's sharpening in camera, that is all.

The FS100 sharpens out of the box
The AF100 sharpens out of the box

This list could go on and on and on. Not all sharpening is created equal! :)
