Very promising review by TheCameraStoreTV, says that the audio is better than on Nikon & Canon, you can also clearly see audio meters available when shooting video.

Or maybe they only had a single NX-1 preview model available.
As I recall, Jordan used to shoot everything on FS-700 in 1080p for a long time. Now, it's been replaced by GH-4 ... which, as I mentioned a few posts earlier, represents a convenient workhorse for the YouTube type videos.
http://www.cameramemoryspeed.com/news/samsung-nx1-digital-camera-offers-uhs-ii-sd-card-support/The SD card slot in the NX1 can use SD/SDHC/SDXC cards and is compatible with UHS-I and UHS-II. Samsung included support for the latest UHS-II SD cards to deal with the large amount of data it can process. The UHS-II standard can provide up to 300MB/s maximum transfer speed. It is only the second digital camera to offer UHS-II support, the other camera being the Fujifilm X-T1.

I think this really describes this guy below -... on paper it looks like the NX with native glass could be pretty useful in AF mode. If Samsung nails the optics, and the image is great, I think we'll see a fair amount of stills guys considering a switch. Most still shooters aren't doing vanity fair covers - they're doing events, weddings, portraits or lower-level fashion and product, and they're doing it with 2 zooms and a prime...
The sensor and hardware seems like it's using just a fraction of its power. Firmware updates would be nice, but letting the OS be open source and seeing what the market comes up with? The first camera maker to do this will find they become the hero for many markets and uses. When music video shooters, time lapse guys, astronomy nerds, slo mo shooters - all have specific "hacks" (or well designed custom OS) available? Then this camera becomes "the" camera for a lot of sub-sets of users.
Hard to understand.. my Korean is a little rusty...
NX1 receives a 5-star review ... though, it looks like it's not the only one with such a lofty rating.
And a two minute film from Belgium -

Is that moire or just the sun changing its angle visavis the camera and the guard rail?Serious moire at 1:13, but maybe any camera would have had trouble with that speeding bridge rail on a sunny day?
