4K Samsung NX 1 now available for pre-order

Trying my best to like this camera... But seems like the blown highlights and crushed shadows of several years ago. Even the ungraded stuff...

Hopefully some seting adjustments might come to light
 
well...I was saying the right opposite :)
Finally a video with nice contrast, where blacks are black hehehe
But I agree with you, the camera seems not to handle highlights very well.

What is it with people who review a DSLR for video, and then never move the camera throughout the entire 4 minute sample? How the hell am I supposed to form an idea about the usefulness of this for video if it's sitting glued to a tripod - how do I evaluate how it does with movement, given that if you use it for video, it's pretty much 100% certain that you'll move the camera. The mind boggles.

Watch that Joseph Gordon-Leavitt video. It has enough shaking to make you want to hurl.

Thanks for the video, but holy rolling shutter, batman! But you did admit that in your mini review. Like one of the commenters there, I also wonder if the native Samsung OIS lenses would take care of most of that. By the way, REDs in the dumpster... are you by any chance the "my mom bought me a RED so now I'm a DP" guy, or just making a reference to it, or neither? :)
 
Use the 4000 gimbal and problem solved or use a xacuto or red rock shoulder rig like the olden days of the canon 5d mark two. Do you remember those days? What was that 2 or 3 years ago? And i am either yes the guy who did the my mom bought me a red and now im a dp or i am not that person.
