That's right, the GH1's MJPEG encoder produces 30fps videos, regardless of whether you select NTSC or PAL modes.
Try Lpowell's settings with Native 24p checked with the Overall Bitrate set to 86000000. You'll need a class 10 card though because this results in a write rate of almost 14MBs, I haven't had time to test other cards yet. I'm sure others will do some testing too.

Unable to access the download to your patchIf you prefer, you can delve into the individual patches in the PTool INI file I've provided and alter any of them to suit your needs. Regardless of which combination of patches you use, the GH1 should report its patched version number as 0.0.
The Reliable In-Camera Playback Patch INI file sets Version Increment to one, along with the Prevent Version Compare patch. This combination of patches allows you to revert back to the original Panasonic firmware and reinstall the patch any time you like.
You can download the Reliable In-Camera Playback Patch INI file here:

Same problem while using one of the 3.40d versions of ptool, now using 3.50 version and it seems to be working... testing more tomorrow with lpowell settings.im a bit confused . analyzing avhd footage in adobe premier in the properties panel i have 1. 6 MB/ sec for original version clip. And for version 0.0 even less: average data rate 1.2 MB/sec . 1 MB = 8mbits right? but in fact video for 0.0 version looks better . what i missed ?[/IMG]![]()

Hey Raster-Is that just the BETA version you are using, or is there a package for sale?
