35mm adapter rig photos

TO: Richard J. Johnson

I've used a Chrosziel and Zacuto followFocus. Their beautifully constructed and worth every dollar. I own the Redrock and find it as pro as its higher priced alternatives; as long as you have the newer gear. The original gear had too much play in it.

You would definitely love any of the three above. I love my RR gear, especially the FollowFocus.

I was just looking at the RR and the Zacuto. They sure aint cheap. but I guess quality costs.:crybaby:

My second rig is all zacuto. The quality is top notch, plus the life time warranty sold me completely. I recently sold my second zacuto rig and opted for the all blue and black of the Redrock gear. No regrets; IMO these products are equal in quality and build.

Thats what im saying, and honestly I have seen and used some Zacuto stuff, really the differences are minimal. Im not hating on the product and IMO cinevate makes a good product and so does redrock and SG and all that good stuff.

The tools can be sharp and ready to use, but without a craftsman they're just tools. It's all in what works for you and how you use it to create imagery. I agree with you Austinv, but Zacuto brings in the "sexy" in the eyes of many; Bling, if you will.

I've been told that the Cinevate gear is equally precise in quality, build and value to the aforementioned. I hope someday to own some and be qualified to opine.

I agree about the bling factor. It's like mac vs pc...

I love my cinevate rails. Great build work like a charm and they are compatible with a ton of different products. Plus Cinevate is Canadian big reason why I bought.

Just got my Blade yesterday. Free 2 day shipping from the UK? Can't beat that kind of service. Still in the process of shooting stuff.

I hate to say it, but this thing kicks the crap out of my old M2.

Hey DM_Rider Nice setup. Have to admit the Blade is a sweet looking unit! Good choice to go without the flip.

Couple pics of my rig while testing various cameras. This one's a Samsung HMX-10C. If one is desperate, not a bad HD camera for under 200 bucks. Not a camera I will be using. lol Cory.

Zzx4k, you are a sellout and I will never talk to you again.

DM Rider, :cough: told you :cough. Have you posted some footage yet?

Sherlock256, things like that are often a big mistake, but sometimes it just works... bad-ass!

Haha ya I know. I posted some stuff in the HPX section, but it doesn't show much. I'm shooting a small music video with an acoustic artist on Monday and some stuff this weekend.

DM, let me know when you got something to show off. I want to see it.

Sherlod, not much of a detective are ya? I figured it would be clear enough when you have a BLUE follow focus. :)

Xl2 with a LetusXL and Nikkor 50mm F2. Rails are the Indian Cinevate copy.

Nice and simple, not like half of the other camera rigs here.
