35mm adapter rig photos

how are you guys attaching a counter balance? For instance, this http://cavision.com/rods/RS15SP.htm looks like it would be unable to attach a counter weight due to the rods hitting the neck. Ive seen Depth of Phils rig which makes sense, but without that bottom support, is there away around that?

HOLY CRAP

What lens is that?!

Zeiss 180/2.8 medium format - this is with that huge lens hood on.

About the same wight and size as the LEX.

I also got a 50, 80 an 120 from the same series.

Absolutely sweet lenses - in my opinion the best glass Zeiss ever made.
I really love the look, character and performance of those huge babies.

And, yeah it´s also pretty cheap. In the neighborhood of 120 Euros each if in mint condition.

Go to page 29 and look under #283. My new updated photos of my rig. I didn't want to repost so I decided to modify my existing instead.

nice Teddy!
now where can we see some footage from that steadycam?

Thanks! I haven't had a chance to fly it yet so we'll see how it does...

I am using the same camera there Teddy!! What is the adapter? RedRock or SGPro?

Hooray for the FX1! I haven't really been able to find any decent looking (aesthetically) 35mm set ups for this camera, so I was a bit skeptical at first when buying everything but I'm pretty happy with the way it looks.

I'm using a Redrock M2 with Flip Module, Pentax 55mm 2.2 (still waiting on Canon FD mount), IndiFOCUSpro follow focus, and a Chrosziel matte box that I'm borrowing from a friend at the moment. The shoulder mount is an Indisystems shoulder mount.

Hey Teddy, which steadycam is that and how well does it work with the 35mm rig?

It's a Glidecam V-16. I still need to adjust some things here and there and tighten the spring as well, then I will be able to tell how good it works ;)
