2K RGB… I'm confused. I thought we'd established there is no 2K RGB anymore. Unless you're talking about converting to 2K RGB in REDCINE.

Which means that has nothing to do with redcode raw. So can you give some details about it?
Miguel,

There is REDCODE RAW and REDCODE RGB, to my knowledge. I'd prefer the second since I knew it'll have scaling properties. However, is it where? 1080 RGB and 720 RGB.

Graeme,

Why not a 2K RGB handling with the REDCODE? I guess it can have some hardware difficulties in order to handle so much data (comparing to the RAW) but it would be gold. Also 'cause we'd get scaling from the RED 35mm size (take advantage of the high resolution of the Mysterium sensor). Almost 10 megapixels -- it would rock. Be sure of that! :D

Otherwise, 'the function makes the man' and this would work for slow motion purposes. Therefore, we wouldn't use more than 5% of the whole footage. The other 95% will be 4K RAW for sure. So, why not?

As you know we're juggling with a lot of camera specs at the moment. Once we're through that, we'll be back to answering questions in this area.

:dankk2: for your care Graeme. We all know you're doing and bringing the best for us. You are our REDCODE angel! :)

The things have been a little bit shaking these days with the new specs release. But we'll be waiting for your time and efforts. We know you're used to get as far as possible.
