This image is from a project I'm shooting with the 1Dc and using the log option in EOS Movie Utility. As a basic LUT for C-log from the 1Dc it seems to work well.. except you can't get it into a NLE or even export the footage from EOS Movie Utility with it. Can't think why Canon won't make it available.

It is available, WideDR LUT.

I am still around, a bit busy in the last month, too much traveling between countries. Still think what to use a B camera.

USRA Mini 4.6 ? A7SII ? Panasonic DVX200 ?

Bloody hell getting correct Focus during run and gun is hell !!!!

Colour and PQ is still the best around though

So I've always wanted a 1DC. Right now I have a C100M2 and a 5DM3 as a backup. Is the 1DC still a viable camera since it's 3 year old tech? Also, anyone know how it matches with the C100(M2)? I'm assuming CLOG to CLOG should be pretty perfect.

Thanks.
Haha Which camera you want to keep as back up? the C100II or 5D3?

5D3 is no near match for the 1DC except for its lighter weight,

C100II have much better AF and controls, but PQ on 1DC is still better.

Clog to Clog is much easier to match for sure, though not perfect.

I guess if the 1DX2 have the same resolution sensor as the 5DS then the 1DC will have 6K / 8K

I guess once media that is fast enough to store the 6k/8k 4:4:2 data internally for the camera become commercially available, we will see it.

Youtube is supporting 8K already.

I don't see any reference in the article that this is the C500MII. Are you sure? I've heard rumors there's another camera entering the Cinema EOS line and the 8k is it.
