Film Fights looks like a really fun site to make films for film but still have a competive factor, much like Vimeo's weekend challenges, but FF seems to be lacking activity. Are there other sites like it?

On the fourth of July I lost all AF capability except in iA mode. I think the camera might have overheated, but I am not sure. Is there a way I can fix this, or should I get it repaired? Thanks

I'm currently running with a Pentax 28mm lens, manual focus. It can be hard to tell if my subject is in focus all the time, is there a way to get the focus assistant with another lens?

I got a lens adapter for Pentax lens (because my mom has four of them) so I took the 28mm 2.8 lens for a test. I fell in love as soon as I put it on.

I took some pictures of myself today with an f-stop of 4 (the lowest I could get) with a ND4 filter, and there's no DOF from what I can see. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I was in Aperture (A) mode. Thanks

One thing I notice is that if I try to film a "wide" shot of anything with trees, plants, or just overall scenery, it's overly sharp. Example: (play in HD) How do I go about making this look nicer? Thanks in advance.

The light is one I got from eBay (i know I made a post a while ago) for about $20, if I remember, and it has hot-shoe mounts on both sides and on the top. The mic fits on pretty loosely. It's pretty cool :D
