GH2 Possible cheap audio monitering solution?

Hey, just wondering if this would be a possible solution to monitor audio:

I'm not an audio guy, I can 't tell if this would work or not.

Not likely. The description says this cable is meant for splitting audio input/output from capable audio ports on devices. As the GH2 mic port is input only, the output port on this adapter would have no functionality. The final nail in the coffin is that the adapter is meant for a specific type of port (4 position), so it will likely be incompatible with the 2.5mm adapter you'd need to plug it in to the GH2's mic input.
