When i play my footage I see a green solid and just hear audio. When I pause the clip I see the video. What is wrong? Please help!!! also there are beeping sounds when I playback the video.

I have several scenes where I have a greeen screen involved but they are in the background. I need to bring that closer so I can key the green and still be able to keep my widescreen format. I am using final cut pro 5 on a mac pro. Can you guys help me out?
