Sony Handycam nex vg10 vs vg 20

What is the better camera? Should I go the affordable route or opt in for a newer version of the camera?

From what I have read, most people say ignore those 2 and go for the Nex 5n instead, it uses the same sensor, same lens mount (E-Mount), and has far more control over the video, even though it is a hybrid camera/video.

Ok thanks for the response.
