https://www.cinema5d.com/canon-c500-worth-5-learnt/ I like this article, a nice mention about a member here (C Mac) and his continued effort in making external fans for the C500 to stop the internal fans from turning on. Also if Convergent Design are reading any of these posts, please don't...

I hope CD, don't give up on this old beauty. A good read. https://www.cinema5d.com/canon-c500-worth-5-learnt/ Broatch Berry Screaming Dime Venice CA

I'm starting a new thread about the C500 fan noise issues, didn't want to highjack the C500 Atomos thread. Asking around I found some people that have worked with the C500 recording both 2K and 4K, it look's like with the firmware update Canon last made for the C500 it addressed the cooling fan...

The release of the Sigma Cine Lenses, is coming within the next day or two! Prices just under $4,000 each for the Cine Zooms for the 18-35 and the 50-100. Can't wait to try these out :) http://www.sigma-global.com/en/cine-lenses/

Coupled with an Odyssey 7Q+ it seems like such a good deal? I'm tossed up between a used Sony F5, and the C500. Looking at getting 4K ready by the end of this year. Broatch Berry Venice CA

I was looking at this the other day, it is footage from a job I did 4 years ago for a non profit. I really like the results I got with this set up! All the interviews were with the adapter. HPX170 SG Blade Razor 2 Zeiss ZF1's Check out the link bellow. https://vimeo.com/79019992 Broatch...

I was wondering on these used F35's, are they prone to capacitor leakage like the older Sony BVW/DVW series internal boards? I remember having horrible problems on the Sony BVW400A, D600, and the recorder BVW50. Macie Video, had a great article on leaky cap's. Broatch Berry Venice CA

My old girlfriend just came over and shared this video with me, she loves to dance and one of her class instructors choreographed this video? Anyway I loved the cinematography, and the song, and the little girl, along with the production and choreography...
