I need to make a 'news' ticker for the bottom of my videos, but I don't know how! Is there any EASY way to do this? As I'm going to use this on tons of videos, displaying random facts (think pop up video) about what is on the screen, only in ticker format. Thanks in advance.

I want to take full screen videos, and add boarders to the sides to make it full wide screen for youtube. If you have ever watched ESPN Classic they do this often. Either they have ESPN on both sides, or they stretch and blur the video so it shows on both sides. I would like to know how to do...

I have the canon HG20, and I'm capturing footage of video games off my screen and I'm wondering what are some good ways to get the colors corrected? At times it appears too bright, and I'm kind of new to Premier Pro. I know this is a newb question. Also, what are some good settings to go from...

It's Peter Jackson's birthday everyone! Let's celebrate by saying our favorite Peter Jackson moment. I liked when he head butted a seagull in Bad Taste. Also Check our myspace page for our Peter Jackson Super Fan Movie, "One More Just For Luck." It has some groovy Peter Jackson Songs...

I mean, you can take the theme of darkness a long way. It's pretty broad. Anything with a death can be considered darkness, I can film only at night, You can have a 'dark comedy.' etc etc. So what genres have most of you guys used?

Just taking a poll of the usual amount of sleep you get on average. I'd say on days off about 8 hours and on work days I get between 3 to 5 hours tops.

I'm not sure if this is the place for this post, if not feel free to move it. ANYWAYS, I just wanted to see what everyone prefers/uses/would like to use. Everyone says Final Cut Pro is the way to go. But I also hear Adobe Premier Pro. (I'm a real poet) Well is there anyone on here that has...

I really hate double posting. Not just double posting where it posts twice, but where users post twice, in a row, in a thread. I mean there is an edit button for a reason, and bumping is cheap. Now I know, I'm guilty of this, but I'm getting better about it. The only time I think posting twice...

I really want to display my number of posts proudly by my name, like days of old, for all to see. Please bring them back!

I have a feeling a lot of you, like me and my friend, are rushing to get things done. Personally I think we work good under pressure. The hardest part of ours is done (finding cool beards) What are some horror stories of trying to film you guys have so far? Or things that haven't went as planned?

That's right, good ole Pornet here is going to throw his hat into this Hallows Fest, with the movie SHADE. What exactly is this all about? Well let's just say that sometimes when you think you are all alone, you really aren't. You are really surrounded at all times. And once you realize this...

This thread is meant to be YOUR top ten movies of all time. NOT the most influencial, or anything like that, but your personal top ten. Here is mine, in all it's glory. 1. Evil Dead 2 2. The Lord of the Ring: Return of the King 3. The Green Mile 4. Lady In The Water 5. Freddy Got Fingered 6...

So what film is your favorite so far?

Why are these movies so few? The Evil Dead triliogy is possibly one of the best Horror/Comedies (arguabilly) ever made. And Peter Jackson's Dead Alive (Brain Dead) is pure Genus. Are there any other lesser known movies like this? And why is this genre so under used? p.s. Scary Movie doesn't...
