I have the following:
EVGA 680i SLI Mobo
Intel q6600 OC'ed on air to 3.2ghz STABLE
EVGA 8800gts 512mb OC'ed
4 GB PC 6400 DDR2
1.5tb Seagate 16mb cache 7200 RPM
Blackmagic Intensity Pro HDMI Capture Card
What would benefit my computer the most part wise as far as being upgraded? I have a $300 Best Buy gift card, where I work, so I'm willing to spend about $100 on top of the gift card.
I was thinking either setting up a raid and cloning my drives onto it, or more ram, or a newer video card. I pretty much NEED at least a raid to capture from my capture card.
Also, I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 (lucky right?) and also was wondering what would benefit that and encoder the most.
Also for an example of what I edit check out youtube.com/garudoh. Mostly video game footage with music over it, highlighting the music.
Thanks in advance.
