Tutorial to make a non-live 'news' ticker?

I need to make a 'news' ticker for the bottom of my videos, but I don't know how! Is there any EASY way to do this? As I'm going to use this on tons of videos, displaying random facts (think pop up video) about what is on the screen, only in ticker format.

In the titler near the top... Select: "Roll/crawl".....Chose "Right to left" and "Start off screen" (if you like) Now type your text and keep typing all the facts you like in one line.
Exit titler. Place title on timeline and drag length to slow down or shorten length to speed up.

It look better if you also make another still title and pick a lower third template to place below the scrolling title.
 
So I'm guessing i can't just type and have the box extend itself? I have to keep dragging it further and further?
 
Well i keep typing but then when the box ends so does the text . If i extend the box, it shows up, and that is the only way it will show on the video. Seems like a glitch to me.
