So I'm travelling light with my MacBook Air (i5 4GB etc) and with 1080p proxy footage it runs fine - and up to a point also fine with 4k footage if using proxies, however once a project gets a bit bigger with some color correcting etc, it does start to struggle (which I can't complain about)...
