I'll admit, I purchased the vlog upgrade for my GH4, never used and now having a look at again, due to the pending HLG updates to the FLAME series - but I'm confused.
From my understanding everything above 79IRE will clip, if looking at native log footage using the builtin GH4 zebras or the ones on the Ninja (if in Native Source Video mode), however (I assume?) if I set it to 'LOG to Video' and specify its a Panasonic camera, VLOG and VGamut - I would assume the on-screen exposure tools would be using the converted (to REC709) footage for the Zebras (so I can now use 105% for seeing whats fully gone etc) however it seems to me that the zebras are using the source LOG for the exposure so I'm getting zebras all over the place, even if my scene is correctly exposed and nothing is overexposed.
I know I'm doing something wrong - but any ideas?
