The viewfinders "seem" to be interchangable meaning connector...but unfortunately doesn't work. I've tried the 7 viewfinder into the 6 and the 6 viewfinder into the 7 and no bueno on either.

Sounds to me like you have an A & B cam. They can be pretty easily matched and your 700/7q combo isn't going to fetch much so why bother.

Those of you running V3 of the firmware can you confirm if you have the option "Touch Fn in MF" listed in the Focus menu? I'm running V3 and i don't see it. I bumped up to V4 today and still don't see it. I watched this video today and that option was listed in the menu.
