a7S has XAVC-S, not XAVC. it must have some improvement but XAVC-S is still 8bit420 so we can't expect much from it. it's just twice big sized H264. the biggest/greatest data we can get from this camera is Uncompressed 8bit422. so difference between H264 is...you know it. exactly the same...

BTW, that 409600 stuff is simply fun to do! :)

hi, since i've asked by Sony Japan for small test with new products and stuff like that, this time i asked them to get upcoming camera, Sony alpha a7S. this full frame mirrorless camera has amazing performance for video shooting and many FS700 user might have interesting because of that S-Log2...
