I've never used DV Rack... but have a HVX200... how does the software work? Do you need a firewire input on your laptop? Can you use USB or anything else? Does the video show live from the camera on the laptop? Thanks David

I have two P2 cards... sometimes, I'll one card and a little of the second. I'd like to combine the two on my hard drive to archive to DVD. However, I want to keep the folder structure so that I can view with P2 viewer in the future. Is there a way to copy the second card video and audio...

Is this correct? Is 480i shooting 480 interlaced and 24p mean shooting 24 frames per second? If so, should I compress in Squeeze at 24p to maintain the look? Thanks David

Anybody else have this problem? MC 2.6.2 after I get all my P2 clips in the Avid, I double click a clip and load it into the source monitor. I then want to go to specific time code areas, just by typing in the time code and hitting enter. Works great with captured footage, but not with MXF...

I am trying to view some footage from p2 that I have backed up on DVD. When I open the P2 viewer and try to set the dvd player on my computer as a virtual card, it will not allow me to view the fooage. Any ideas? Any way to look at footage backed up on DVD? Thanks D

Can you tell me if I can add tone to bars on the HVX200? Just got the camera and would like to have that function if available. Thanks, D
