When I drag photos into the timeline, the sequence box or preview box at the upper right shows the picture zoomed in at the middle. I tried messing around with "fit" and zoom control but it only controls the zoomed in image. Only when I scaled the zoomed in image to 10% was I able to scale it...

I shot footage in 24pa, and I am editing on a 24p timeline I believe. I captured and put it on the timeline. I click properties and it says the clip is "29.96 (24p)". I just want to make sure I'm not doing anythnig wrong before I start editing more footage. Why does it say 29.96? thanx
