reversing a clip?

can someone give me an explanation on how to play a clip in reverse?

If you are running 1.5 (not sure on other versions but it should be same) right click on the video in the timeline, click on speed/ duration and you should have a check box to reverse speed. This will then play the clip backwards.

To just "play" a clip backwards Press "J" key
