"Acceptance" by Kyrre Larsen

can't tell you how pleased I am to see you in the top ten. if it were up to me, you'd walk away it by a pretty good margin. please contact me after the fest. I want to talk about your plans for the future to see if I can help position you in front of the right people. good luck.

Wow! You have been endorsed by Forsman...even if you don't win I think that is better than a 1st place! Seriously!

Congralutaions guys!

Great job and big congrats. I'm really glad you made it. I haven't reviewed your movie yet, but in short- loved it. More later.

Congratulations, guys.

Man, this film really struck a chord with me. Excellent acting, cinematography, music. Everything felt so real. I have to say this story hit pretty close to home. It's eerily similar to how I was when I lost my mother. You captured that sense of grief brilliantly.

If I wasn't biased for Placebo I'd say this one should win :)

Great work and good luck.

So,

sorry it took me a while to comment, there's a lot going on in this.

I think that you really nailed a lot of different things. This short did a lot and it did a lot of it exceptionally well. It shifts quite a bit and it keeps it fresh.

Props for the Mushroom sequence. simple and pretty intense/funny.

The only thing I had issue with was when he ran to the funeral and it cut to the slow-mo-profile shots of him running. I felt like this was pretty different than everything else.

really nailed the ending though.

it reminded me of Lukas Moodysson's LILJA 4-EVER in that way -- raw naturalism puncuated with deliberate cinematic flourishes. worked for me.

I understand the theory behind it, i'm just saying the execution of it slightly took me out of it. no biggie though. By that point i was into it.

Congratulations. I really really loved this film, I think you did a fantastic job, it leaves me wanting so much more.

i'm just gonna say it. I loved your film, imperfections and all. and I love you for making it. you received my highest rating.

Man, Zak! That's too kind! It really means the world to me right now. I think you know by now how much I admire your work. Thank you so much!
