"Dead Week" - A film by Kyle Stebbins (and company)

darn you Mr Stebbins. I'm going to have to wrangle some DVXUsers of my own and get the banners going... with or without boobies!

Any idea when you're going to start principal photography? Any schedule set in stone yet? I know some of us are out here location hunting and still casting.

Oh believe me, we are still doing ALL of those things. -- All of them.

I'm scheduled to meet with my co-director in about an hour. We've got our road map for the film (and have had one for some time now), but still need to write the full-fledged script. =) Things just REALLY started rolling here and it should be remembered that TwilightFest is still VERY new to us. :) I do, however, think that this is the most productive I've ever been during these dvxfests. I'm so motivated to work it's RIDICULOUS!!

Anyway, after tomorrow night we will for sure have more to say in the way of shooting dates. -- A lot of it revolves around location availability. Because of this I think shooting dates will be sporadically determined, hopefully calming down in the next two weeks or so. I will be in Seattle for a week starting this coming saturday. - I will still try and coordinate over the boards here, but will resume hammering away when I return the following thursday. (At which point my father's two bands will be playing at a local event called Capital City Ribfest. I will be sure to post pictures from the weekend. It should be a blast.)

So yes, we are still scouting locations (especially now that the bank fell through) and writing. I've begun storyboarding (as you can see in the first post) and have also begun testing sound environments out with my equipment.

I do have more crew announcements to post but I will do that later tonight.

You're definitely welcome to the set, Jarrod! I'm interested in bringing you on board as sound operator (provisionally... that might change due to certain people's travel plans)...

However, I do see a zombie extra role in your very near future.

Right on! I'm always up sound stuff and for eating people on camera considering I do it off camera more than you would like to know. I Kid! I kid!

More Boobs! ( . )( . )

I'm just digging the quality of each photo. It's as if someone intended this to be a comic strip.

Mark Johnson living the comic life.

Update: I'm at Max's. I'm seeing the apartment for the first time and it looks perfect.

More later.

Young Stebbins, your fest entry better live up to all the hype this thread is generating for you or you may be ravaged!
