Hey all,

i am looking for manual and digital zoom lenses for my 60d, mainly fast lenses.

please could you help me

with manual and digital zooms.

Manual zooms would be great primarily because of budget thanks

:)

Digital zoom? I'm not sure that's what you're looking for, and "manual" is not the opposite of digital. The opposite of digital in zoom terminology is "optical" zoom. Optical zoom is obtained by shifting the lens elements. Digital zoom comes from enlarging the digital image from the camera's sensor within the camera's firmware. You aren't going to find a lens for your 60D that isn't a manually-controlled, optical zoom.

As for actual lenses... what range do you need? Tamron makes a very nice 17mm-50mm f/2.8.

one of the best zoom lenses in my opinion is the ziess C/Y 35-70 f/3.5

Though it may be more expensive than you want to spend....

can you tell us price range and your intended use?

yeah thanks, sorry i re-read it when i wrote it sorry.

like th elook of tamron 17-50/ sigma 17-70/ 70-200 just a tad pricey atm tho.
