ZombieFest DVD Box Set ... ?

yeah thats a pretty good idea.. but im working on something that should improve the whole online viewing thing.

The extra impressed the hell out of me as well.. good solid pro stuff. Some of the extras make the DVD worth it alone.
 
It'd be awesome if there were a standardized compressor that we run our dv mov's or dv avi's through to create a standard compression for everyone. It'd be possible, but quite a hassle to program and piece together, unless you're really well-knowledgable with programming.

disks 1 and 2 and 3 are done duplicated and printed and sitting in front of me, I just gotta get #4's bugs squashed and we are ready for action :)

I ended up just dropping the movies with bad cadence/pulldown/dropouts instead of fixing them.. me trying to wait for people to upload the fixed versions was just causing too much of a delay.

So there are 50 films in total, the top 50, but not as per our rated list we posted a few weeks ago, but the top 50 that also sent a sucessful dvd.
 
four disk set woohooo!!!!!!

here's a suggestion -- release the 3 disk set now and then at Christmas release the Platinum Edition and charge us $40 bucks for the 4 disk set just like the studios he-he!
 
ha ha.. yeah thats starting to piss me off the way hollywood is doing that. Im still waiting for the real sin city to come out.

yeah I couldn't believe the lack of specials on that as Rodriguez is known for such
knew right away I'd been had

I heard that! I'm a big Rodriguez fan so I was really let down when they released it. I popped it in the DVD player and thought that maybe I had rented a really well made bootleg.
 
I like when a director/producer says in an interview all the cool stuff they're doing for the DVD and then when it comes out....nothing but a trailer.... then miraculously a few months later, edition number 2 comes out....then the 10 year anniversary edition...then 20....25....

I hate them all...........

I hope my BTS made it onto the disc. If there are two hours of bonus materials, then my BTS feature will comprise a full 1/6th of that total time...Sweet! I think we spent more time on the BTS than the actual short.
 
Yes.. your BTS made it.. 20 minutes of love. You sent em on DVD+RW and for some reason it really threw the mac for a looopy doop.. Thak god for PC's. I almost gave up on it.. wierd cycle redundancy errors that i never have seen before.
 
actually you got that backwards the new imacs with superdrives are only DVD+R.. but play record DVD+-RW. The G5 superdrives are dual +/- across the board. Mine was a DVD+/-R drive as well.

But.. DVD-R is king in my books.
